New Collaboration Enhances and Extends Capabilities of A-Net Systems
Anaheim, CA, January 17, 2008—Aviom, exclusive developer of the world’s premier audio transport technology, A-Net®, announces a collaboration with Digidesign, the leader in digital audio production, providing the professional music, broadcast, multimedia, and film industries with tools for audio creation, post production, collaboration, and distribution, to extend Aviom's A-Net capabilities. Digidesign's D-Show 2.6 software has been upgraded with key new features including support for Aviom's Pro16 Series™. Aviom's Pro16 Series™ will be showcased at the NAMM show, January 17th to 20th, at the Anaheim Convention Center in California (Arena, Booth #7123).
The Digidesign ANO A-Net Output Card is an option for Digidesign's VENUE Stage Rack that now allows users to connect the popular Aviom Pro16 Series personal mixers and audio networking devices, including the sought-after Aviom A-16II Personal Mixer, directly to a VENUE system, providing a simple and cost-effective artist-driven monitoring solution. It tightly integrates with Digidesign's D-Show 2.6 software, and offers unique features such as Auto Link, which automatically links channel pairs across all Aviom personal mixers.

Allowing performers to create a custom monitor mix tailored to his/her individual needs, the A-16II Personal Mixer gives each performer control over channel volume, grouping, pan, stereo spread, and master volume while enabling users to save and recall up to 16 custom mix snapshots as presets.
